Charles B. Walker Culture Club

Purpose Statement:

Matthew 25:34-40; Acts 2:42, 46:47 and Acts 20:35.

To foster Christian fellowship in the Washington Metropolitan area through positive activities that inspire highest ideals in our participants. The dual focus is to educate students and empower the suffering:

– Christian Discipleship by reaching out and sharing our stewardship with new members, attending training and workshops to better our own understanding of the Word so that we can share with others
– Community Outreach including supporting activities for senior citizens, youth, St. Ann’s Center for Youth and Children, Family & Youth Services Project, and support and assistance to emeritus club members
– Scholarships for youth in our church and community as well as supporting students in Africa
– Ethnic Awareness through our annual Black History Program and other programs to encourage diversity and understanding among us
– Performing Arts activities that bring music, art, history, and dance to our members and friends
– Travel to various local, national and international destinations for educational and recreational outcomes

  • Meetings are 2nd Friday September- November & January –May (in December and June we have family celebrations
  • February – Annual Black History Bazaar
  • April – Annual Senior Luncheon and Show
