Women's Ministry
The mission is for every female--teen and adult--to become an active member using her talents to do God’s will and His work. The women have adopted the colors of green and white to keep us mindful to remain fresh, alive, and always ready to grow in wisdom and in stature. The objective is prayerful thinking, study of the scripture, and Christian fellowship.
Meeting Time: Mondays after the 1st Sunday at 6:30 pm (Except July and August)
Ministry Contact: Sister Niiyo Madison

A Word About The Women’s Ministry The Women’s Ministry began in prayer on Saturday, January 24, 1998, with more than 100 women present and praising God! Since then, we have engaged in monthly meetings, a significant portion of which is prayer, praise, and studying God’s word to enable our continuous growth as we carry out our purpose, “Women of God Working by principles of wisdom to preserve the Wonders of life and the well being of all mankind.”
Our special events and activities include:
- Annual Women’s Day Weekend Events
- Annual Scholarship Awards
- Monthly Meetings (Bible Study)
- Annual Christmas Holiday Fellowship with the Mighty Men of Zion
- Expressions of Cheer
- Response to Humanitarian Needs
- SWRYA (Spiritually Well-Rounded Young Adults, Youth Ministry for Girls 13-18)
- Golfing Ministry
We in The Women’s Ministry serve a living God and are identified by the tree of life. We have adopted the colors of green and white to keep us mindful to remain fresh and alive with pure hearts and always ready to grow in wisdom and in stature. Proverbs 31: 10 -31 is our guiding scripture. The ultimate goal for The Women’s Ministry is that every female, teen and adult, will become a participating member, using her talents to do God’s will and to do His work. Working together, we will remain “Women Working Wonders” for Christ.
