PREPARING FOR ZION BAPTIST CHURCH’S 2019 GRADS DAY

We are delighted to be preparing for our Education Sunday celebration (aka Grads Day) on Sunday, June 2, 2019, where we again recognize our graduates at all levels from kindergarten through post-Ph.D. programs and award numerous scholarships. If you will be graduating from elementary school, middle school, high school, college, professional school, a post-doc program, ushering school, or any other school or professional program, please complete the Graduate Recognition Form. Zion will recognize both member and non-member graduates with a certificate; however, only Zion members will receive a small monetary token with their certificate.
We thank God that due to your generosity, as well as that of others in Zion’s extended family, we also will be awarding numerous scholarships, including two new scholarships: The Rev. Dr. Glossie H. Valentine Scholarship for those pursuing ministerial education and the Mighty Men of Zion’s Dr. Robert L. Owens III College Scholarship for an outstanding male graduating high school senior. While most scholarships are limited to Zion members only, the Charles B. Walker Culture Club Scholarship is open to both members and non-members.

The initial eligibility for each scholarship is summarized below, but be sure to read each scholarship criteria carefully to ensure you meet all requirements.
